1. Cat's second-ever excursion in week 3. This time to Koba Cafe with Mommy and Ba Noi. We also successfully changed her diaper in the corner behind me. (9/27/08)

2. On the first 70 degree day of 2009, we're hanging out on the rooftop deck. (3/6/09)

3. Yum! Christina has just made her first batch of Bún bò Huế. Her finished-off bowl sits in front of her. On the refrigerator, the two Obama car magnets that we got for donating $15 each, neither of which, to Christina's chagrin, ever spent any time on our car because I was afraid they'd get stolen. (1/18/09)

4. Our living room bookshelves, rock solid after 5 months. I built them cantilevered from the wall and directly attached to the wall studs. They were finished 5 minutes before Christina had to go to the hospital. (1/31/09)

5. Mai-Linh visited from Oakland and got us all to go on a crab feast at Nick's Fish House. (7/28/08)

6. Christina, almost 8 months pregnant, watches Impulsado enjoying some fresh grass at the Graham Equestrian Center where he's boarded, and where Christina's on the board of directors. (7/22/08)
