Response To Cát Tiên Corral

The consensus is in: plastic play pen works the best. Option 2 is a lot of work, and babies tend to eat the wood.

Most importantly, Christina is on board, and wants to create a cocoon-like space for Cát Tiên as soon as possible.

Cat had a little incident with an orange peel today that reminded us of why baby-proofing is paramount. This isn't the passive, cuddly baby of our fantasies we're dealing with. This is a baby with pincer grips, indiscriminate appetite, and lightning-fast reflexes.

Luckily, chị Mai-Ly is going to give us the play pen that she used for Tèo, some fourteen years ago. Turns out it's the exact one in the picture.

  1. Hi Luu and Christina!

That plastic play yard you picked out looks terrific. It looks like it's moveable, too, for different rooms/spaces. I agree with the "no floor lamps" comment--that was the biggest problem for me. But if you were as cute as Cat Tien, wouldn't you want to just go everywhere? And put things in the DVD player slot so that you can get a new one? And....

    Love,
    Janine

  2. Good choice. Oh, how I dread the babyproofing. I don't know where we could even put a baby corral!
